Unfortunately, our President, Ruth Jeanes has made the difficult decision to step down from the role after 9 years on the ANZALS board.

Ruth has recently taken on a new leadership role within her university and has found it increasingly difficult to invest the time in ANZALS required to continue to develop the association and so with a great deal of regret has decided to step aside. She is looking forward to continuing her involvement with ANZALS as a member and continuing to support the association where possible.

As a Board, the vacancy was discussed and expressions of interest invited from existing Board members to take on the role, as per the constitution. We are delighted that Trudie Walters has agreed to take on the President role, congratulations Trudie!

This in turn created another vacancy, and we thank Louise Grimmer for her willingness to join the Board and take over as Treasurer – welcome to the team Louise!

We also welcome Holly Bowen-Salter to the board as our student representative – thanks for joining us Holly!
